With great effort the Milan Stock Exchange manages to recover something compared to the thud of the eve, but the rebound is very modest: Ftse Mib index + 0.37% at 19.234 points and All Share + 0.39% at 20.991. The spread between BTP and Bund goes back to 177 points while the euro / dollar exchange rate drops by 0.70% to the level of 1.1200.
Outside the main list it was a boom day for Cattolica Assicurazioni shares (+ 38.12% to 4.98 euros) after the agreement announced during the night with Generali (+ 0.26%), which will rise to 24, 4% through a reserved capital increase. In light Banco Bpm (+ 2.26%), Ubi (+ 2.13%) and Nexi (same gain, driven by a Berenberg report on electronic payments after the coronavirus). The progress of Intesa Sanpaolo (+ 1.08%) and Unicredit (-0.2%) was more modest.
In the industry, Exor (+ 1.81%) and FCA (+ 1.45%), after the reassurances of Carlo Tavares, CEO of Psa, on the merger between the two groups; instead CnhI falls (-1.33%) after the revision of the industrial plan in Italy. Eni did not move much in energy (+ 0.11%) despite the rebound of crude oil in the final session in Milan, while Hera (-1.90%) and Italgas (-1.34%) lost value. «In Campari drinks down (-3.24%), penalized by the new tariffs threatened by the USA, in Moncler fashion (-1.15%) and in Buzzi cements (-0.83%).
