The hoped for return to normal after the pandemic, and the intervention of the European Union (albeit not yet official) to cure the economic damage inflicted by the virus on the continent, push the European stock exchanges upwards, and among them the performance of Piazza Affari, where the Ftse Mib scored + 2.46% at 18,351.16 points with All Share + 2.40% at 20,073 points. On the main basket there is only one title with the minus sign, that is Atlantia (the parent company of Autostrade per l’Italia) with a -1.23%; for the rest, the performance of Ferragamo stands out, which closed up 16.28% after the news of the return of Michele Norsa in the role of executive vice president (the powers of President Ferruccio Ferragamo will go to Norsa). In fashion it was a day of strong gains also for Moncler (+ 5.83%). Pirelli performed well in industry (+ 8.19%), Campari in drinks (+ 6.47%) and Enel in energy (+ 3.13%) after increasing its stake in Enel Americas to 62.3%. StMicroelectronics (+ 2.25%) benefits from better numbers than the estimates communicated by the American Micron Technologies.
In the banking sector, there were + 4.02% of Bper, + 3.79% of Banco Bpm, + 3.53% of Unicredit and + 1.31% of Intesa Sanpaolo, also thanks to the drop in the spread with the German Bund at 188 basis points.
